Take you next Fondue Party to the a higher level.

Full credit for this recipe goes to Christal Chatterly @ https://cannabis.wiki/. It was too good not to share. Note: I only included the actual fondue recipe portion here. Cannabis infused chocolate fondue

Get the skewers ready! Though this chocolate weed fondue is certainly best served fresh, you can also freeze it in cubes or layers to defrost for other marijuana edibles recipes later.

Time to make: 40 minutes

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients

Tools

  • 1 medium glass bowl
  • 1 mixing tool
  • 1 saucepan

Instructions

  1. Add the chocolate, milk, and cannabutter to a medium sized glass bowl.
  2. Place the bowl in the middle of the saucepan.
  3. Fill the pan halfway full of water and set the heat to medium.
  4. Use a stirring tool to combine the ingredients and scrape the edges of the dish to keep the weed chocolate sauce from burning. Continue to cook it until the mixture reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. If at any point you notice chunks beginning to appear just add a bit more milk to fix it.
  5. Once the ingredients have entirely melted, you can remove the pan from the burner and add in the vanilla.
  6. Stir the vanilla into the weed chocolate sauce and serve it immediately or cool and refrigerate it to reheat later using the same warm bath technique. If the cannabis fondu gets too thick after serving you can heat the mixture in 30-second intervals using a microwave.

Flavor and texture substitutes

Not everyone prefers the same amount of sweetness in a fondu and some people like a specific texture. Here are just a few substitutes you can use in this recipe for a massive change in both flavor and consistency.

  • For a less intense chocolate flavor use half and half cream instead of milk.
  • If you prefer a deeper delicious chocolaty goodness use a bar of more bitter chocolate that contains anywhere from 65-70 percent and add an extra ¼ cup of milk.
  • To get a softer chocolate flavor use cream instead of milk.
  • Use white weed chocolate instead of milk chocolate for a sweet vanilla twist.
  • Add ½ teaspoon of mint, peppermint, orange, or any other flavor you might like instead of vanilla extract.
  • More experienced cannabis consumers may prefer a higher dose of either THC or CBD. If you want a more potent fondu than consider using cannabis-infused milk or adding 20-30 drops of tincture to the liquid right before it’s served.

Other uses

Don’t let the recipe name fool you, this marijuana edibles delight is perfect for spreading over toast, icing cakes, making cookies, spreading over waffles or pancakes, drizzling over ice cream, adding to milkshakes, smoothies, cake batters, and more. Almost anywhere a liquid chocolate sauce could be used, so can this weed chocolate fondue.

Fondue News

Here is a story I recently found at www.kentonline.co.uk. I want to use this as a reminder about fondue safety… While fondue can be fun and tasty it can also be dangerous if proper care isn’t taken. Be safe and keep those fire extinguishers handy!

Bearstead man injured in fondue fire

A man was given first aid by firefighters this evening after sustaining minor burns while using a fondue.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the house in Peverel Drive, Bearsted after the man is thought poured methylated spirit into his fondue burner but over filled it slightly.

When he lit the liquid in the burner, the vapour ignited very quickly and caught the bottle containing the meths alight too. As this happened the plastic bottle was knocked to the kitchen floor where the vaporising meths continued to burn.
The man extinguished the fire using a damp towel plus a watering can from the garden.

The incident caused some scorching to the kitchen lino and the resident had minor burns to his right hand, which were treated by firefighters using a burns kit.

They also fitted two working smoke alarms in the house and left the property just after 7.20pm.
